The City of Georgetown is accepting applications for Firefighter I (an entry-level position). This is a full time position.
Requirements: high school graduate or GED; documented training and skills equivalent to the SC Fire Academy's Fire Fighter I program or an equivalency as determined by the Chief; documented training and skills as a Medical First Responder, and possession of a SC driver's license.
Certifications for EMT, Instructor, hazardous materials, rescue and other relevant fields are desired, but not required.
