Entry level firefighter positions for the Georgetown City Fire Department require a high school diploma or GED, documented training equivalent to NFPA Firefighter I or an equivalency as determined by the Chief, documented training and skills as a medical first responder and the possession of a SC Driver's license.
Certifications for EMT, Instructor, hazardous materials, rescue and other relevant fields are desired, but not required.
