The Georgetown City Fire Department is not currently accepting job applications. When vacancies occur and an application period is open, the details of the position will appear here. Entry level firefighter positions for the Georgetown City Fire Department require a high school diploma or GED, documented training equivalent to NFPA Firefighter I or an equivalency as determined by the Chief, documented training and skills as a medical first responder and the possession of a SC Driver’s license.
Certifications for EMT, Instructor, hazardous materials, rescue and other relevant fields are desired, but not required.
