Cyclones, Tornados, or Water Spouts, whatever their name they are weather phenomenon that can cause severe damage in a very short period of time.

Usually associated with thunderstorms, tornadoes are caused by sharply rising air than begins as a spinning motion and evolves into a dangerous twisters.

Tornadoes develop their destructive power by drastically lowering the atmospheric pressure.  As they envelope a building, the higher atmospheric pressure inside the building forces walls outward towards the lower pressure.  If the force is powerful enough, the building will collapse.

If you hear or see a tornado, seek shelter immediately.
