August 2, 2006 - Today marks the completion of training exercises for the first recruit school in the department's history. Eight probationary firefighters participated in a three day training school at the Johnsonville Training Center. The firefighters performed skills in search and rescue, self contained breathing apparatus, personal protective equipment, single and multiple team fire attack, flammable gas firefighting, vehicle and structural fire attack and firefighter rescue.
