DOLPHIN ONE

     Dolphin One is a 25 foot Bayliner Hydra Sport purchased by the Department in 1999.  She's equipped with a specially designed 550 gpm hale pump driven by a Rotax Ultra light, high performance, engine.  The forward deck gun is a Elkhart high riser chain driven 500 gpm smooth bore nozzle.
     Dolphin One frequents the harbor every Friday afternoon for pump exercise.  The pictures below show a Friday afternoon when the Coast Guard was "engaged" and ultimately defeated in a water war.  On

     Dolphin One's fiercest firefight occurred the day before Christmas Eve 2000.  Early that morning, as temperatures hovered near 24 degrees, fire broke out on one 50 foot boat in the
